When you have decided to get your treatment at Rudolfinerhaus, your doctor will contact us and make the necessary reservations (apartment, surgery room). Your doctor will inform you about the date, the exact time of your admission and the subsequent steps. Should you have any special preferences concerning your apartment or want to make a reservation for an accompanying person, please also inform your doctor.
You can choose between 3 apartment categories:
In case your insurance covers semi-private accommodation only, you can pay the surcharge by yourself. Ideally, your doctor lets us know your preference making your reservation.
Our underground car park has 200 parking position on 3 levels and 7 charging stations for electric vehicles. For accessing Rudolfinerhaus you can use the barrier-free main entrance which is connected directly to the car park. Inpatients with stays of more than 3 days will pay reduced parking fees.
Access by car or taxi is possible by the spacious 2-lane main drive directly in front of the main entrance. Stopping for a short period of time is permitted.
For check in, please come to one of the inpatient admission counters directly to the right after the barrier-free main entrance. From there we will accompany you to your apartment.

Please contact your health insurance before admission to guarantee direct billing. If you do not have private health insurance, we will send you a cost estimate for your treatment. Please do not hesitate to call us in case of any questions.
I you cannot provide full insurance coverage, we ask you for a deposit. The value depends on the duration of your stay and your diagnosis. Forms of payment:
Rudolfinerhaus is your one-stop shop for comprehensive diagnostics. Highly competent specialist, modern equipment from laboratory, diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine to histology guarantee quick and precise results.
We at Rudolfinerhaus focus on each individual patient. Your doctor dedicates much time to you, arranges for all steps of your treatment and is your prime contact for all medical issues. He visits you daily on his ward round is available over his phone at all times. Consistent and excellent medical support is guaranteed in any moment. A daily nursing ward round complements your doctor’s visit. Doctors and nurses permanently exchange all necessary information about your health status and coordinate all diagnostic and therapeutic measures.
You will feel like in a luxury hotel. Because of not only the exquisite furniture and the spacious rooms but also our exclusive service. Our hotel staff will do everything to fulfil your every wish.
Calmness and relaxation are important for your recovery. We respect your apartment as a place of your retreat. Our staff is trained to disturb you as little as possible. We try to keep the number of your contact persons as low as possible. If you wish who can protect your privacy and restrict unwanted visits by defining a code word at admission.
Protecting our patients’ privacy is especially important for us. At Rudolfinerhaus, taking photos and videos is strictly prohibited to protect the personal privacy of all present.
Standard diet, free of gluten or lactose, low fat, suitable for diabetics, Arabic or kosher. Our chef and his team respect your intolerances, allergies and religion. The 26 diet plans combine to up to 225 options. Additional to the standard choices we offer still more options. Of course, you can take your meals at our restaurant together with your visitors.
You find our restaurant directly in our lobby. It is open daily. We offer seasonal dishes, small snacks and typical Viennese coffee shop classics. There, you also find a shop for magazines and books as well as personal goods, sweets and drinks. Restaurant
The view over our 5.000 sq. meter park or to the skies over Kahlenberg – our rooms offer a spectacular panorama. The historic garden full of old trees invites to stroll or relax.
At the lobby on the ground floor there is an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM).
Our in-house chapel is open around the clock. On Sundays and Christian holidays, holy mass is celebrated at 10 a.m. The chapel is also available for baptisms. Should you want to talk to a catholic or protestant priest, please ask our nursing staff at any time.

Visitors help patients to recover. Visits to your room are possible around the clock. Be advised to respect night-time silence from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Your doctor decides when you will be discharged. Please inform the ward before leaving Rudolfinerhaus. In case you need help to pack, bring your bags to the entrance or a taxi, our hotel staff will gladly assist you.
At discharge, we will hand you your release documents and all available medical results.
All expenses not covered by your health insurance must be paid before leaving the hospital. Payments can be made at admission and reception. Forms of payment:
