A specially trained surgical team cares for our patients. The standard equipment of our operating units includes neuromonitoring for various neurological surgical indications, a gamma probe to localise sentinel lymph nodes, mono- and bipolar coagulation units of the most recent standard, and Ligasure, a high-frequency diathermy machine, which is the first to permit safe and precisely controllable intraoperative sclerotherapy of blood vessels measuring up to 7 mm in diameter. Two modern endoscopy towers with EndoEye videoscopes are available for minimally invasive endoscopic operations.
