The kitchen is openend at 6:00 a.m. Rolls, croissants and other bakery must be prepared, so that breakfast can be served to patients on time. At the same time the first guests are welcomed at the cafeteria. Sabrina, Kathi, Robert and Dieter are in charge and guarantee for the always friendly and charming service.
The kitchen at the Rudolfinerhaus prepares seven meals a day for the patients to choose from. It goes without saying that a healthy and balanced diet is in the main focus of our team. Special requests, as for instance a vegetarian diet, are part of the standard of the Rudolfinerhaus. The quality of the products used for preparing the meals at the Rudolfinerhaus private hospital is constantly monitored in order to guarantee the highest standard and freshness.


The preparations for lunch begin no later than 7:00 a.m. The trays on which the meals are served to the patients’ rooms are arranged. There is no step between pots and plates. All cooked meals are put right on the patient’s plate, which is then kept warm by using special warming containers. From the kitchen the food is brought directly to the patients wards, where the meals are professionally and charmingly served by our outstanding hotel-staff. The 300 employees of the Rudolfinerhaus private hospital also get hungry and therefore can choose from three daily meals in the employees’ restaurant.

Cakes and other snacks for in between are provided by the kitchen team in all patients wards. Of course they are also in charge of preparing a delicious dinner at the end of the day. A light meal is vital for a good night’s sleep.
