Operating rooms and delivery room

Operating rooms

Surgeries are not as risky as they used to be in former times. Continuously improved and newly developed state-of-the-art methods and technical equipment enable quick and efficient surgeries.

The work of today’s surgeons is amongst others assisted by ultra-modern equipment and numerous surgical instruments, for instance high-frequency-instruments, and complex OR-microscopes and mini cameras for possibly required endoscopies. This equipment helps the surgeons to make the tiniest structures of the human body visible.

Neurosurgery microscope

Since acquiring this ultra-modern microscope not only the surgeon can perform a total microsurgical examination but also two assistants can follow the surgery in detail, because a 3-chip-camera is documenting the entire surgical procedure. The attachment fixture is electromagnetically lockable so that the microscope can be moved with two fingers into every possible position.

Endoscopy

The moving picture of the area of surgery is monitored on a screen by using a stick-shaped lens- and cold-light-fibre system. The surgeon can treat the tissue in the area of the surgery through a small tube by using equipment designed especially for this kind of treatment.

Intermediate Care

After surgeries our patients are monitored and observed at the intermediate care in order to care for the stabilization of their condition after complex surgeries respectively until they leave the hospital after routine treatments. For monitoring the vital functions of our patients the intermediate care unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technical instruments. During the patients’ entire stay at the intermediate care unit they are cared for by especially educated and highly qualified nurses and health care personnel.
