How important and valuable tools our hands are for daily routine chores and in how far we depend on our hands, we only consider when their functions are limited because of disorders.

In order to combat limitations of the functions of these tools, vital for our every-day life, most efficiently, the Rudolfinerhaus as the very first private hospital founded a center for hand surgery. A few years ago a specialist team of three different special medical fields – orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery and trauma surgery.

„We are a team of specialists from three different medical fields – orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery and trauma surgery – and together we work for your health at the center for hand surgery at the Rudolfinerhaus.

Our main idea is to treat disorders and changes of the functions of hand, wrist and forearm interdisciplinary and with the utmost flexibility in a private clinic with most modern facilities. Diagnostics and therapy can be carried out with our without surgery, on an out-patient or in-patient basis, but in every case perfectly for you.

Our collaboration with first-class physiotherapists and ergo therapists stands for our all-round care. Accompanying therapeutic measures – also during the after-treatment – are most important for regaining strength, mobility, coordination and sensibility of your hand.”

We also treat, amongst others, injuries of your hand and their consequences.

Our competence is to resolve all different consequences, such as bone fractures, vascular- , nervous and fiber transaction and many more, by performing coordinated methods of treatment. Together with our external diagnostics we can prevent disorders resulting from injuries’ consequences and in most cases achieve our goal of total recovery.
